Gary Keville Traffic Management Ltd (GKTM)

On the Gary Keville Traffic Management Ltd (GKTM) stands we will be launching our Temporary Pedestrian Crossing Traffic Lights System (PedLights) which are unique to Ireland. We will demonstrate all the features of these lights which also include, remote controlled operation. In addition the GKTM stand will have information on all our services which include provision of TM Crews, Training, Products and Equipment, Design and Consultation.
 
In the demo area our sister Company Gary Keville Transport Ltd (GKT) will have one of their crane equipped trucks. GKT is Ireland's leading experts in abnormal load transportation and heavy lifting and has an extensive range of crane equipped trucks for all applications.

GKTM Ltd and GKT Ltd are based on a 4 acre site in the heart of Dublin and are ideally situated to easily reach all parts of the city and the Country as a whole.

The following three products will be shown on the OSI Stand...

Ortho Photography
National coverage of high flown ortho photography at a resolition of 1m per pixel.
Digitally scanned and ortho-rectified raster colour and black and white photography.
The ortho-rectification process removes distortions caused by camera tilt and topographical features
to produce a scale accurate image.

Height Data LIDAR
Highly Accurate Digital Terrain Models (DTM) or Digital Surface Models (DSM).
LiDAR is a remote sensing technology that uses laser scanning to collect height or elevation data.
The Laser scanner used in OSi is an airborne Leica ALS50. The laser scanner emits 150,000 pulses every second creating a point cloud of millions of pixels collected in X,Y,Z (easting, northing and height). After capturing the raw point cloud each point is then classified into different layers i.e. Ground, Buildings and Vegetation. The final outputs from the point cloud are either a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) or a Digital Surface Model (DSM). These outputs are of high accuracy and give vertical accuracies between 15cms to 25cms depending on terrain.
