Promotion information:	Testconsult has provided testing services in Ireland for over 20 years. In 2001 our materials testing laboratory was established in Portlaoise, to serve the growing road construction schedule in Ireland. We now provide a fully independent service for testing soils, aggregate, bituminous and concrete material, both in site laboratories and in our Portlaoise laboratory. All testing is carried out to Irish, British and European standards. Our testing laboratory is UKAS accredited boasting the country’s largest scope. We are continually increasing our scope with the recent additions of Polished Stone Value and Large Shearbox. We are currently providing materials testing and source approval for many local authorities in line with annual road maintenance schedules. We have provided testing and consultancy services to the following major contracts over the last few years. N7 Heath - Mayfield By-Pass, N4 Kinnegad - Kilcock By-Pass, Dublin Port Tunnels, Ballincollig By-Pass, M50 Widening, Limerick Southern Ring Road - Phase II, N6 Galway – Ballinasloe, The Limerick Tunnel and more recently Motorway Service Areas around Dublin. Our services do not end there! Our structural testing department carries out pile integrity testing, SIMBAT dynamic load testing, sonic logging, noise and vibration studies, instrumentation and monitoring of structures, condition surveys of bridges buildings and structures, in situ load tests on structures and components and specializes in lift shaft beam assessment. We also hire out noise and vibration monitors. We are proud of the fact that Testconsult Ireland is a “Front Runner” in our sector with many “firsts” including UKAS accreditation for Pile integrity testing, Polished Stone Value, Large Shearbox and various structural operations.
